Pilaf with chickpea

Pilaf is a dish that made of rice and pounded wheat. Last day I made pilaf with chickpea and I want to share this yummy pilaf’s recipe with you:)
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cups of boiled chickpea
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 cup of rice
- 2 1/2 cup of hot water
- A pinch of salt
Recipe:
Wash rice very well and drain it. Put a pot on fire then put butter in it. Melt the butter then put rice in it. Saute the rice in it. After sauting, pour hot water on it then add boiled chickpea in it. Add a pinch of salt in it and cook it until the rice boils down. When the rice boils down, put a piece of paper towel to lid and cover the lid on the pot. Serve it after waiting for 10-15 minutes.
Pounded Wheat Pilaf With Vegetable

Pounded wheat Pilaf is a traditional dish in Turkish cousine. The nutritional value of this dish is high. Pounded wheat is yummy, healty and nutritive through folic acid. Especially it is good for pregnants and young people.
Try pounded wheat like this:
Ingredients:
- 3 middle size potatoes
- 3 middle size tomatoes
- 2 green peppers
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 7-8 tbsp olive oil
- A pinch of salt
- A pinch of red pepper
- 1 cup pounded wheat
- ½ cup hot water
Recipe:
Fill the kettle with water and boil. Peel the potatoes. Wash and chop as size of a hazelnut. Put the oil in a pot . Then wash the green peppers and before dicing discard the seed of peppers. Peel the tomatoes and chop small piecess. Put the pot on fire. Roast the choped potatoes in oil 10 minutes. Put the green peppers the same pot and roast 5 minutes together. Stir it untit they roast. After that put the choped tomatoes in it. Stir it three or four times. Add tomato paste in it. And stir itr again. Put a pinch of salt and red pepper. Cook the souce until the tomatoes boil down the .
Add the pounded wheat to this sauce. And pour the hot water in it. Cook the mixture in low heat. After pounded wheat boiled down turn off the fire. It will be served 5 minutes later. Enjoy it!
P.S: It may be necessary some extra hot water due to the kind of pounded wheat. You can add some extra hot water in if it doesn’t get soft.

Macaroni with cheese

After walking all the day, I and my husband began to think what to eat. We decided to cook macaroni with cheese. We chose macaroni because macaroni is practical, yummy and nutritive. ( also we love macaroni).
We entered the kitchen I made the macaroni and my husband made the salad. 30 minutes later we started to eat our dish.
Ingredients for macaroni with cheese
- A packet of macaroni
- 4 tbsp corn oil or sunflower oil
- A pinch of red pepper
- A pinch of salt
- And a kind of cheese you like(we used feta cheese)
Put water in a pot. Wait until it boils. Put the macaroni in that pot and wait for about 10 minutes. Drain it and sprinkle a pinch of salt on it.
In a pan put corn olive and wait until it gets hot. Put a pinch of red pepper in it. Pour this mixture on macaroni and stir.
Before serving garnish it with a lot of cheese. ( any kind of cheese)

Pilaf With Butter

If we make roasted wheat, beefsteak or chop we cook pilaf. In fact in Turkish cuisine pilafs are seen as the other part of meat dishes.
Ingredients:
■ A cup of rice
■1/4 cup noodle
■3/2 cups hot water
■A pinch of salt
■A bar of butter
Recipe:
Before making our dish boil some water for the rice then pour water in a bowl with a pinch of salt and put the rice in on about 30 minutes. After waiting 30 minutes wash the rice until white water goes. Pilafs which making like this are very yummy.
Put the pot on fire and put a bar of butter in. Melt the butter. Put the noddles and saute until it gets pink. then add the washed rice and saute it. Add a cup of hot water. Cook until boils down. Cover a piece of paper on and close cover of the pot.
Enjoy it.
